About NDT

Alexey A. Titkov is the founder and director of New Digital Technologies LLP since the company was registered in October 2022.

He brings a combination uncommon in the industry: deep academic grounding paired with hands-on entrepreneurial practice. Alexey Titkov holds a Candidate of Economic Sciences degree (broadly comparable to a PhD in Economics in international classifications, awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2006) and an Associate Professor title in Economics (2009). Since the defence of his dissertation he has worked at the intersection of academia, higher education, and the real economy for nearly two decades.

Today he chairs the Department of Economics at Toraighyrov University (formerly S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, one of the oldest and most respected universities in Northern Kazakhstan). Over the years of teaching, hundreds of graduates from his department have gone on to work in the IT sector, financial institutions, and industrial enterprises across Kazakhstan, Russia, the United States, Europe, and other countries. He has authored and co-authored teaching materials on enterprise economics and corporate finance, and serves on the editorial board of the university academic journal (economics series).

Combining the university role with running NDT creates a natural channel for passing experience between generations of professionals. Students of relevant programs complete academic and professional internships at the company; the most engaged of them work on selected NDT tasks under the supervision of full-time engineers. For students, it is an introduction to modern toolchains and real engineering practice; for the company, it is a chance to meet future colleagues during their studies.
